FOR eg.LAGRE-SCALE MELTING OF LAND-BASED ICE AND THEEXPANSION OF THE OCEANS AS WATER WARMS COULD CAUSE SEA LEVELS TO RISE DRASTICALLY.LOWLYING ISLANDS SUCH AS TUVALU COULD DISERPEAR, AS COULD LAGRE PART OF NETHERLANDS AND FLORIDA, TO NAME JUST TWO OTHER AREAS. MILLIONS OF PEOPLE COULD BE DISPLACED FROM SUCH PLACES AS SHANGHAI AND CALCUTTA, AS WELL AS PARTS OF BANGLADESH.

2) GLOBAL WARMING IS HAPPERENING BECAUSE PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRORMENT AND THEY LITTER.IT IS BAD BECAUSE IT IS MELTING THE ICE AND IT WILL FLOOD THE WHOLE WORLD.

3) THERE IS NO PLACE WHERE GLOBAL WARMING IS THE WORST, BECAUSE NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW THAT THEY ARE AFFECTING THE O-ZONE LAYER. THERE ARE EVEN COUNTRIES THAT ACTULLY SEND PEOPLE TO JAIL IF THERE LITTER OR SOMETIMES IF THEY ARE LUKY THEY WIIL JUST GET FINE.

4) THESE ARE JUST SOMEWAYS YOU CAN STOP GLOBAL WARMING.

- REPLACE ALL YOUR LIGHTBULBS TO ENERGY EFFICENT
-PLANT A TREE OR TREES
-DECREASE YOUR AIR TRAVEL
-Drive less or take bikes to work or carpool whenever possible
- Clean or replace filter monthly!!!

Our BIG Ideas:

*Write or ring the hawkesbay today newspaper and tell them how you can prevent global warming.
*Make a powerpoint on what could happen and show it to the school in our school assembly.
*Make posters about global warming with a few stuff how you could prevent it and hang them around our school
*Hang posters that we put in our school and put them on the napier's notice board
*Video some teahcers and ask them what they think about global warming?
*Write down ten things how you can reduse global warming and put it in the school newsletter.

We decided to write ten things to prevent Global Warming in our school newsletter and lets hope it prevents global warming from happening any earlier!!
